About the art

Siebert’s paintings are shaped by the faces and bodies of the people who crossed his path — strangers encountered in streets, favelas, bars, and remote villages. Working in the immediacy of the moment, he paints them as they are: unposed, unprotected, and deeply human.

His canvases hold their presence with a raw, dreamlike intensity.
